Weston Peick races Rocket Exhaust RMZ450 to 10th at Lake Elsinore National

Weston Peick put his Rocket Exhaust powered Suzuki RMZ450 into the top 10 at the final round of the AMA Motocross Championship.  Rocket Exhaust built Weston a full race motor and special "Peick Edition" exhaust system for the event.  Weston loved the set up and the result was Weston's best start this season, rounding the first turn in 8th in the first moto, "the motor package was amazing and got me the best start I have had all season", said Weston.  Unfortunately the heat got to Weston in the first moto but a strong moto 2 put him inside the top 10 overall, "we are extremely happy with Weston's result, it shows that privateer riders and teams can run inside the top 10 at the top level", said Don Leib of Rocket Exhaust.

Michael Leib finishes 6th at Anaheim 2

After a slow start to the season Michael Leib is starting to pick up speed in the AMA Supercross Lites West series.  Michael had 3 confidence building results in Phoenix, Los Angeles and Oakland so he was ready to race when he arrived at Anaheim for the 2nd time this season.  After qualifying for the main directly from the heat, Michael took an inside line in the first turn that immediately put him inside the top 10.  Michael then pushed his way up towards the top 5 and fended off a challenge from Travis Baker.  Towards the end of the race Michael was catching Nico Izzi for 5th but he couldnt;t quite get close enough to mount a challenge.  This is Michael's best result this season and he hopes to move foreward from here, "We have done alot of testing these last few weeks and my Rocket Exhaust Honda is working really well" said Michael, "I think I can definitly run in the top 5 and maybe even get a podium, I'm really motivated for San Diego next week" he added.

The next West Coast Lites race is in Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego next weekend, it is the last race before an 8 week break in the West Coast series.
